KY Amendment 2 Defeated in 2022

Thank you to all of you that came out to make your voice heard. 

Many came out to spend an hour or so holding up signs to vote no on Amendment 2.  We tried to get out each week to a different location in NKY up to election day in November 2022.

​Amendment 2 Vote

If you support the basic human right that people can make their own health care decisions without government involvement:

VOTE NO on Amendment 2 this NOvember. 

In November 2022, Kentucky put abortion rights on the ballot.  Here's the text from Amendment 2: 

“Are you in favor of amending the Constitution of Kentucky by creating a new Section of the Constitution to be numbered Section 26A to state as follows: To protect human life, nothing in this Constitution shall be construed to secure or protect a right to abortion or require the funding of abortion?"

• A NO vote will aid in restoring access to critical women's health care in KY and keep government out of our health care decisions.  Vote NO to protect women's rights. 
  
  
• A YES vote will change the state's constitution to ensure no rights are provided to citizens for abortions.  And abortion IS health care.  So banning abortion is banning women's access to health care.  Don't agree?  View the real life impacts of abortion bans on women.
